If you cannot do it both, you are going nowhere fast! Look at Tesla! Tesla attract trillions of dollars in capital Tesla is successful with influencing the entirer automotive industry.. So Solar has to do same thing with the entire energy industry.. It si not enough to get government and custoemr involved as long as shareholders are not interested or enthuisastic enough to inivest billioins !! Tesla depend on very little poltical power. it is all marketing power.. Solar is not .
mayber it is the shortage of copper that kept everybody away from soalr energy??
We are not opening new copper mines and we are blocking them .. like the Pebble mine in Alaska .. it is a huge copper district there..
Without copper, you are goingnowhere fast!
we may barely have enough copper for EVs not solar.
Aluminium prices just went up three times and it may hurt Tesla by now.
Are we losing the war on climate change?
We cannot even power aluminium smelters with renewables let alone coal in China that controls over half of global aluminium production already.
it is mind boggling to think that we can lick climate change..
We can do better kinds of renewable energy without electricity at all.. Yes renewable energy can be direct sunlight in form of CSP for everything we do and use.. We still dont develop those at all.
people are interested in making money not lasting solutions to climate change.
Something fo r the concerned leaders to think about!!
